Ever since the dramatically fast rise of the Alvarez brothers (Enrique and Moses), they had risen in the drug distributing world causing the streets of their home town to be greatly affected by the implosion of narcotics being supplied to crackheads. The Alvarez cartel proceeded to dominate their enemies (anyone else selling narcotics). Although there has been no logged interview with the brothers themselves the media has managed to get an interview with their mother (Maria Alvarez), She had said that they had a rather inadequate childhood, this along with their dads passing affected their life in the long term. They began a life of crime at a young age, 14 to be precise. On March 17th 1987 the two were placed behind bars after being caught for the brutal 1st degree murder of a young 16 year old boy who wanted out of the cartel.
The police department sheriff says that the brothers got what they deserved, but little did he know that the brothers had paid off many governments and police officials, this meant that the brothers were off the hook for a very small price. The brothers continued their devious actions with no one to stop them, To this day they are still out in the open distributing drugs through the city of Chicago. You might be questioning how the cartel came to operate in the city of Chicago. The answer to this question is simple after Mexico got fed up with the Cartel the government formed of special forces team of highly trained Mexican ex-militants to track down and take in/murder on sight the Alvarez brothers along with anyone with them at the present time. According to 12 news, the police department were able to trace the fingerprints on a Smith & Wesson Model 60 .357 Magnum revolver to Moses Alvarez, they also found the fingerprints of Enrique on a Beretta 92 Series Pistols. This is how the police department came to the conclusion that the brothers were responsible for the murder.
The Alvarez brothers are responsible for the many, many missing persons reports in Chicago, they are also known for dealing the vast majority of Chicago's firearms to smaller groups of gangsters, This increased their popularity in the streets. Enrique can be seen dealing narcotics most of the time, He rarely shows his face. Moses prefers the arms dealing trade and can be seen dealing guns, he is usually armed and dangerous and is the most dangerous of the two brothers but don't take Enrique for a fool, when he gets angry at someone he doesn't stop hunting them down until they are dead. The cartel are currently looking for goons to carry out the dirty work for them. The Alvarez brothers can be found near the corner store and Edges Homes seeing as it is where they live, and they also find young Mexicans to recruit around that area.
When Enrique and Moses were taken into custody, they were questioned to find out more information on the murder. The brothers rarely answered the cop's questions and regularly called the cops out of their names. Enrique is known for having a passionate hatred towards the cops mainly because of the racism he had to deal with when he had first arrived in Chicago, Moses shares this hatred with Enrique but isn't as passionate with it mainly because he prefers to bribe the cops of Chicago and get things out of them. When Enrique was questioned on why he had murdered the 16-year-old boy he had nothing to say except this message
